Total Eclipse 2017 In Tennessee And Kentucky: Take A Look At A Lake

The Army Corps of Engineers says some of the best eclipse views will be at Tennessee and Kentucky lakes.

NASHVILLE, TN — The total solar eclipse is a month away and the United States Army Corps of Engineers announced watch parties at a number of lakes across Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky, some of the top regions nationwide for observing the sun's disappearance.

All of the designated sites have at least one minute of totality and all but two have totality of two minutes or longer, including a few over two-and-a-half-minutes, some of the longest periods of totality anywhere.
