Trio Robs 66-Year-Old Woman: Nashville Police

A 66-year-old woman was robbed Saturday while unloading groceries in

NASHVILLE, TN — Police are looking for three people suspected of robbing a woman at gunpoint in Edgehill Saturday.

Detectives say the victim was unloading groceries from her car at 6:20 p.m. Saturday when she was approached by an armed man who demanded her car keys. She told him she did not have them and screamed for help. The gunman and his two accomplices fled on foot empty handed. Officers saw a possible suspect wearing a backpack, who ran and jumped a fence. The officers recovered a handgun near the fence.

All three suspects are black men. The gunman is approximately six feet tall with a thin build.
