Tropical Storm Cindy Brings Heavy Showers To Nashville This Weekend, But Sun Returns
It will be a rainy Friday in Middle Tennessee, but in the wake of Tropical Storm Cindy, cooler temperatures and sunny skies prevail.

NASHVILLE, TN — Friday's heavy rains from the leftovers of Tropical Storm Cindy will give way and set up a very pleasant weekend in Middle Tennessee, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Nashville. Friday: A 90 percent chance of rain and storms, with some storms being strong to severe as the remnants of Cindy push through, with a high of 82. A flash flood watch is in effect for Middle Tennessee until 7 p.m. Winds of 15 to 20 mph could gust to 30 mph. Overnight, a 60 percent chance of showers and storms, with a low of 69. Winds of 5 to 15 mph with gusts of 20 mph.
Saturday: Mostly sunny as the storm rolls east, high of 84. Partly cloudy in the evening and cooler, low of 60.

Sunday: Sunny and pleasant, high of 82. Another partly cloudy and unseasonably cool night, low of 59.
