Tropical Storm Cindy Delivers Kitten To TBI

Check out the cute kitty TBI scientists found soaking but safe at headquarters Thursday.

NASHVILLE, TN — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's forensic scientists spend most of their days finding critical clues in a maelstrom of evidence to solve crimes. Thursday, they instead found a cute little kitten in a rain-soaked parking lot as the outer bands of Tropical Storm Cindy brought heavy rain to Middle Tennessee.

While on a lunch break, a group of scientists found an impossibly cute kitten, washed up from the storm, in the headquarters parking lot. Soaking but otherwise fine, the kitten got its own box and some chicken nuggets to munch on. A TBI employee took the kitten to Sumner County's shelter in Gallatin. If he goes unclaimed, he will be available for adoption.
