Two Tennessee Titans Beat Man At Bar, Lawsuit Claims

Receiver Tajae Sharp is accused of assaulting a man at Tin Roof on NFL Draft night while offensive lineman Sebastian Tretola kept watch.

NASHVILLE, TN — In a civil lawsuit filed Wednesday, two Tennessee Titans are accused of assaulting a Nashville man at a Demonbreun Street bar on the night of NFL Draft. Wide receiver Tajae Sharpe is accused of beating Dante R. Satterfield while offensive lineman Sebastian Tretola kept watch. Metro Police confirmed to The Tennessean they are investigating the incident.

Satterfield's lawsuit claims that April 27 — the night of the first round of the NFL Draft — he was at the Tin Roof. According to the suit, Sharpe was peeved the Titans selected Western Michigan receiver Corey Davis with the fifth pick in the draft and "took exception" to comments Satterfield made that Davis' selection might lead to reduced playing time for Sharpe. Around midnight, according to the suit, Sharpe and Tretola asked Satterfield to leave Tin Roof through a back door that leads into an alley.

A passerby who saw Satterfield in the alley called 911 — Metro Police also confirmed that an ambulance was called to Tin Roof early on the morning of April 28. Satterfield was taken to the hospital and was unconscious for 12 hours, suffering broken facial bones and facial bruising, a concussion and perforated ear drum, according to the suit. Satterfield is seeking at least $500,000 in damages.

Sharpe's agent denied the allegations. The Titans said the organization is aware of the suit.
