Vanderbilt Students Walk Out, Protest President-elect Donald Trump
Hundreds of VU students walked out of class at 12:30 today, marching down West End and through campus.

NASHVILLE, TN — Hundreds of Vanderbilt University students walked out of class Friday and marched in protest of the election of Donald Trump.
The protest began with a 12:30 p.m. walk out with hundreds of students then marching through the student center and through campus and on to West End, where the march blocked traffic near West End's intersection with 21st Avenue.
As has been procedure for the anti-Trump protests and for the Black Lives Matter protests of earlier in the year, Metro Police re-directed traffic but did not interfere with the protest.
