Weather Service Issues Storm, Flood Warnings

Davidson and Williamson counties are under a severe storm warning until 4:30; Rutherford and Davidson face flash flooding until 6:30.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for most of Davidson and Williamson counties.

A storm positioned over Forest Hills is moving northwest. Lightning, hail and wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour have been associated with the storm.

The warning is set to expire at 4:30 PM.

A flash flood warning, associated with the same storm, has been issued for Davidson and Rutherford counties. It expires at 6:30 PM.
