Woman Spits On Cops On Lower Broad: Nashville Police
After assaulting bouncers and spitting on staff, a 29-year-old woman allegedly turned her saliva to Metro police.
NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police arrested a 29-year-old woman Saturday after she allegedly spit on three officers.
Police were called to Crazytown on Lower Broadway on reports that the woman, Jessica Shea, assaulted bouncers and spit on the bar's staff. (For more updates on this story and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Middle Tennessee Patch morning newsletter.)
When Shea was arrested, she allegedly spit on three police officers, as well. According to an affidavit, she spit at a crowd and kicked at the officers trying to put her in the patrol car. She then spit on a fourth officer when she arrived at the jail to be booked, according to the arrest report.

Shea is charged with six counts of an assault of an officer - offensive contact, assault - offensive contact, public intoxication, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
