• Duck River ‘experiencing abnormally dry conditions' amid ongoing drought in Middle TN (wsmv.com) — Shelbyville residents are being urged to conserve water as ongoing drought has left the Duck River in abnormally dry conditions, raising concerns about local drinking water and ecosystems. The Duck River Agency says parts of the watershed are now in moderate to severe drought, which could impact groundwater, agriculture, recreation, and long-term water supplies in and around town.

• Edward Arthur Hill (thunder1320.com) — Family and friends are remembering Edward “Eddie” Hill, who was born in Shelbyville and later lived in Manchester, after his passing at age 69. Loved for his hard work, handyman skills, and passion for fishing, racing, and family time, he will be honored at a future celebration of life at Manchester Church of God.
