The final decision now moves to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen on June 1, with floodplain limits and nearby R-1 homes central to the debate.
   

2. Celebration Encourages Seniors To Champion Health (theucnow.com) — Smithville’s Justin Potter Library is inviting local seniors to the 46th annual Older Americans Celebration, featuring health resources, scam-prevention tips, and more than 80 door prizes.
