• Sparta YMCA Child Care Expansion New CEO's Focus (theucnow.com) — A new CEO at the Sparta-White County YMCA is prioritizing completion of a childcare facility that could open spots for up to 99 local children next year. David Smith also plans building improvements, expanded youth programs, and a November 23 community event called Gather, aiming to better serve Sparta, White County, and the Upper Cumberland.
   

• Local Non-Profit Brings Together Nature and People (spartalive.com) — A new Sparta-based nonprofit, Nature Together, is offering free, nature-focused wellness programs and pop-up events designed to get local residents outside and connected. Founded by a Sparta resident, the group tailors six-week series for seniors, families, people with disabilities, and survivors, while also working to make area trails more accessible and inviting for everyone.
   

• Warriors Make History as a Perfect Season Comes Home (spartalive.com) — White County’s football team just improved to a historic 6-0 after beating previously undefeated Macon County, and now brings its record-setting season back to Sparta. The Warriors will host Warren County for Homecoming next Friday night, giving local fans a chance to watch a possible 7-0 start and celebrate standout performances from players like running back and defender Cole Sims.
