• Springfield girls golf wins first region championship in school history (mainstreetmediatn.com) — Springfield High's girls golf team just captured its first-ever Region 5-A championship, led by standout rounds from Grace Prowse and Ava Tabb. Their combined 145 sends Springfield back to the state tournament for the first time since 1991, with several neighboring schools' golfers also qualifying.
   

• Katherine Suzette Jock-Gregory (dicksoncountysource.com) — Family and friends in Springfield are among those mourning Kathy Jock-Gregory, a Dickson resident remembered for her cooking, faith, and devotion to loved ones. Several of her children and step-children live in Springfield and the family is requesting memorial donations to help with funeral expenses.
