• Obituary: Anne Brady Welch 1929-2026 (lakecountybanner.com) — Tiptonville is remembering native Anne Brady Welch, who was born there in 1929 and later became an educator after graduating from Ridgely High and Vanderbilt University. The 96-year-old passed away July 24 in Knoxville and was laid to rest following services in Knoxville and Bristol, leaving behind her husband, daughter, grandchildren, and extended family.
