• TBI investigators travel across the world to identify victims in the devastating AES explosion (wsmv.com) — Waverly’s memorial park now holds both 2021 flood victims and unidentified remains from the 2025 AES plant explosion, tying two major tragedies to the same sacred ground. TBI investigators used Rapid DNA technology, including lessons from Israel, to identify 15 of 16 victims and are preserving remaining remains while the community plans a new memorial and hopes to name the final victim.
