The team has optioned about 104 acres near Preston and I-635, planning a mixed-use destination with headquarters, training facilities, restaurants, retail, and green space to open around 2031 when their current lease ends. 
• Where to Watch the Best Fourth of July Fireworks This Year (matadornetwork.com) — Addison’s Kaboom Town! returns July 3, drawing more than half a million visitors for an airshow over Addison Airport and a 25-minute fireworks spectacular visible across town. Gates at Addison Circle Park open at 5 p.m., with tickets required for park entry starting June 1, while over 200 restaurants and 23 hotels host their own watch parties around the four-square-mile community.
