Cat of the Week - Meet Anna

This one-and-a-half-year-old female Domestic Shorthair is white and black in color. Anna made her appearance at the shelter with three kittens in tow. While her kittens wait to get a little older to be adopted, Anna is ready to move on to a new “purrever” home. She is a lovable cat that appreciates being the center of attention. You can hear her “motor running” when she’s on the receiving end of a good head rub. Once she gets comfortable with your presence she will roll over on her back while stretching showing off her belly to you. And yes, it does look like someone colored her nose with a marker pen! Dog of the Week - Meet Layla

This two-year-old female Retriever mix is brown and white in color and weighs 48 pounds. Layla is one of our canines that has been in and out of the shelter. Her previous adopters didn’t realize how active and energetic she could be. She’s a sweetheart of a dog with a lot of energy that needs to be directed towards playtime activities. She does walk well on a leash although she can veer off course if she wants to check out a new smell or something else of interest.
