Summer is here and it’s time to enjoy the sun and be Naturally Fun! Mark your calendar for these upcoming June events with Arlington Parks and Recreation.

Rec N’ Roll – Thursday, June 17
The East Library and Recreation Center team will soon be taking the summer fun to a park near you! Join us for the first Rec N' Roll event of the summer on Thursday, June 17 at Bob Cooke Park. More dates will follow this summer across several other parks. This free event will have games, activities, and a cool treat. Look for the Naturally Fun tent at Bob Cooke Park from 6-7 PM!
Neon Nite – Friday, June 18
Join Dottie Lynn Recreation Center for this glow-filled summer event! There will be glow-in-the-dark corn hole, tic-tac-toe, and other family fun events for free. Purchase a $5 wristband on-site and get access to glow-in-the-dark laser tag! Glow merchandise will be available for purchase. Fuzzy's Taco Shop and Kona Ice will be one site. All ages are welcome and no registration is needed.

DIY With Dad – Saturday, June 19
Need plans for Father's Day weekend? Join us for a day celebrating Dad and create a one of kind gift with him on his special day! East Library and Recreation Center will host a DIY With Dad event on Saturday, June 19. The cost is $5 per gift and all ages are welcome.
Father’s Day Swim – Sunday, June 20
Show Dad how much you love to spend time together with a day at the pool! Dads receive free admission at all City of Arlington pools with the purchase of a child’s admission. This deal is available during regular operating hours for Sunday, June 20 as follows:
- Allen Bolden Pool – 1-6 PM
- Bad Königshofen Family Aquatic Center – 1-6 PM
- East Indoor Pool – 12-6 PM
- Helen Wessler Play Pool – 1-5 PM
- Howard Moore Play Pool – 1-5 PM
- Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center – 1-6 PM
- Woodland West Pool – 1-6 PM
Splash Pad Party – Saturday, June 26
Join The Beacon Recreation Center as they host an evening party on the City’s newest splash pad! All ages are welcome at this event, and there will be music, food, and games for the whole family to enjoy. The cost is $5 per person and the party will take place from 6:30-8:30 PM.
