Elderly Woman Found Dead In House Fire
The woman was found dead after firefighters contained the blaze in the 2600 block of Meadowview Drive.
ARLINGTON, TX — An elderly woman was found dead Thursday morning after firefighters contained a one-alarm house fire in the 2600 block of Meadowview drive.
Firefighters were first called to the scene around 10:27 a.m. in West Arlington. When they arrived, fire crews found a house with fire showing from the front.
The fire was quickly contained, Lt. Mike Joiner said in a press release, but the woman was found inside once firefighters began search operations.

The woman has not been identified at this time.
The fire remains under investigation by officials, the release stated.
