Motorcycle, SUV Crash Kills One
A Sunday evening crash left one driver dead and another with minor injuries in the 7900 block of U.S. 287.

ARLINGTON, TX — A Sunday evening crash in Arlington left one motorcycle driver dead, police say.
Police said in a statement that a man on a motorcycle was driving southbound on 287 when a SUV next to the motorcycle tried to change lanes.
The driver of the SUV, police said, noticed the motorcycle while changing lanes and turned sharply to the right.

The overcorrection caused the SUV to skid left and hit the motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle was ejected and later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital

The SUV overturned, but the driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The name of the motorcycle driver has not been released.
