As long as Texas’ beautiful spring weather continues to woo us outdoors, we’d sure like to spend a little less time inside preparing meals. Here’s an idea: let Downtown Arlington restaurants do the cooking for you! In celebration of the unique flavors found in the heart of our city, Downtown Arlington invites you to support your local restaurants (and skip a night in your kitchen) by ordering take out every Tuesday from now through June 1.

In Downtown, we’ve got it all and flavors that are second to none. Gourmet pizzas a-plenty and burgers that you'll write home about. Delicious Japanese ramen and Korean bowls, gourmet charcuterie platters, award-winning barbecue, the original Irish Nachos, and Food Network-worthy desserts. Take Out Tuesday is also a great excuse (not that you need one) to discover our district’s growing number of coffee shops or to take home your new favorite local craft beer. Our restaurants, cafes and pubs are regularly recognized by national and local media, including Trip Advisor, The Food Network, Dallas Morning News, Arlington Today, and Ft. Worth Weekly.

But that’s not all. Make plans to take your take-out to a monthly pop-up community picnic! The picnics will pop-up in three green space gems right here in Downtown. While you nosh, enjoy free live music.
