We have cultivated a culture of innovation within our community, and the University of Texas at Arlington created the Mavs 100 Ceremony to celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship within its alumni base. Last year, the inaugural ceremony recognized 100 fastest-growing Maverick businesses, highlighting UTA entrepreneurial success stories. The top 30 firms alone represented over $680 million in annual revenue

Small businesses in Texas employ 4.7 million people. As a community, we must continue recognizing the entrepreneurs that are driving economic development and creating jobs. At the first-ever Mavs 100, about 25% of businesses recognized were based in greater Arlington, including the following 13 Chamber members: A+ Academy Driving School, Cadmus Dental, CHS Architects, Cloud 9 Perception, Inspirations Catering & Events, Oakhallow Group, OverRidge Wealth Advisors, Polo Carpet Cleaning, PSK, Resonant Sensors Incorporated (RSI), Sugar Bee Sweets, The Sanford House and Women’s Health Services.
