• Bellaire Culture and Arts Board unveils two logo concepts (communityimpact.com) — Bellaire officials are asking residents to weigh in on two refined concepts for a new city logo, now entering a 30-day public comment period after City Council review. The Culture and Arts Board, which funded early design work without tax dollars, is aiming for a logo that reflects Bellaire's trees, homes, trolley and neighborhood character while addressing residents' cost and design concerns.
• 11 events to attend in the Greater Houston area Sept. 25-27 (communityimpact.com) — Bellaire residents can sample unlimited bites and drinks at the Bellaire Foodie Fest on Sept. 26, with proceeds supporting the city's police and fire foundations. The roundup also highlights ten other events across Greater Houston that weekend, from craft fairs and literary festivals to pet-friendly waterpark fun, offering plenty of options if you're up for a short drive.
