• Bellaire Culture and Arts Board unveils two logo concepts (communityimpact.com) — Bellaire officials are asking residents to weigh in on two refined concepts for a new city logo, now entering a 30-day public comment period after City Council review. The Culture and Arts Board, which funded early design work without tax dollars, is aiming for a logo that reflects Bellaire's trees, homes, trolley and neighborhood character while addressing residents' cost and design concerns.
   

• 11 events to attend in the Greater Houston area Sept. 25-27 (communityimpact.com) — Bellaire residents can sample unlimited bites and drinks at the Bellaire Foodie Fest on Sept. 26, with proceeds supporting the city's police and fire foundations.
