Book Art involves the creation of works that use structural and conceptual properties of books. The term also is used to describe works of art produced. These works may contain text and/or images, or may be sculptural.  You are invited to transform an old book designated for recycling into a piece of art.  The theme for this transformational literacy contest is "Bookish".  Contest entrants should be creative and use any medium to create their entry; however, no copyrighted cartoon characters or images or three dimensions (3D) elements may be used.  For a complete list of rules and entry forms please visit www.fotbl.org
