The sights of different themes and colorful offices signified the return of the traditional Homecoming Office Decorating Contest. UHD’s Staff Council and the Homecoming Committee collaborated in coordinating this year’s event

Office decorations were judged by the incorporation of theme, creativity/imagination and originality, and showcase of school spirit.

Awards for first, second and third place were announced at the Homecoming Pep Rally on Oct. 13. The first place winner received a $100 gift card and trophy to display in their office all year, while second place earned a $75 gift card and third place receiving a $50 gift card.

Earning the top spots were:

  • First Place – Accelerated Transfer Academy (ATA) Student Lounge
  • Second Place – W.I. Dykes Library, 5th Floor
  • Third Place – Main Career Center
