Revenues outpaced expenses, boosting fund balances and extending the county’s 45-year streak of top financial reporting honors. Residents can also note the next Commissioners Court meeting set for May 4.

• 6-FOR-6: Lake Belton wins another district title with 11-0 rout of University (kdhnews.com) — Lake Belton High’s baseball team, part of Belton ISD, clinched its sixth straight district championship with an 11-0 mercy-rule win over Waco University at Bronco Ballpark. Strong pitching from Gavin Carpenter and big bats from Zavian Rodriguez and teammates powered the rout. The Broncos now eye playoffs after rebounding from an earlier loss to rival Belton.
