• Burnet police urge safe driving along Texas 29 East during construction (dailytrib.com) — Drivers heading between Burnet and Bertram on Texas 29 are being urged to slow down and follow construction-zone rules as crashes and violations rise along the 5-mile work area. Burnet police say the expanded enforcement will continue through at least 2027 while crews widen the highway, so expect changing traffic patterns, more officers, and delays on this key route into and out of Bertram.
