ā¢ NOAA warns of red tide risk in three Texas coastal counties (lmtonline.com) ā If youāre heading to Brazoria County beaches, be aware that NOAA reports red tide levels high enough to cause respiratory irritation when onshore winds blow, with medium concentrations near Sea Center Texasā pump station. Nearby Matagorda and Calhoun counties are seeing even higher levels and recent fish kills, so residents with breathing issues should monitor symptoms and heed health department guidance.
