• Stephens County departments coordinate emergency services for next week's Hubbard Creek Lake bridge closure (breckenridgetexan.com) — Expect major changes next week if you rely on the Mile-Long Bridge west of Breckenridge—U.S. 180 over Hubbard Creek Reservoir will close April 27 through about May 1 for TxDOT maintenance. Stephens County, the City of Breckenridge, local schools, and emergency services are coordinating detours, staging responders on both sides of the bridge, and using HyperReach and Facebook to keep residents updated.
