• Raytheon Lands Massive $20.7B Air Force AMRAAM Missile Contract (clearancejobs.com) — A Brookshire-based company, Thomas Instrument, has secured an estimated $210 million Air Force contract to remanufacture power drive units for B-2 and B-52 bomber launchers, with all work to be done in Brookshire through 2036. This long-term deal could mean sustained high-skill jobs and federal investment in the local industrial base, even as the broader article lists many other large military contracts nationwide.
