• Memorial bench, unveiled in Early Town Center, honors deputy slain in 2023 (brownwoodnews.com) — A memorial bench at Early Town Center Park now honors Deputy David Bosecker, who lived in Brownwood and served local residents during his long law enforcement career. Family, Brownwood-area officers, and friends shared emotional stories about his life, faith, and dedication as they gathered Tuesday to celebrate his memory nearly three years after he was killed responding to a call.
