• Buda aggravated robbery: 1 arrested, 5 more suspects at large (fox7austin.com) — Buda police are asking residents for help after an aggravated robbery at a Cabela’s Drive apartment left one victim assaulted and five suspects still at large. One 18-year-old has been arrested, but three women and two named suspects remain wanted, and investigators are urging anyone with information to contact Buda detectives or Hays County Crime Stoppers. 
• Buda barn burglars caught on video; firearms reportedly stolen: sheriff (fox7austin.com) — Hays County deputies are asking Buda-area residents for tips after a man and woman were caught on video burglarizing a barn in Buda and reportedly stealing firearms and other items. The pair disconnected the surveillance camera after entering, and investigators now want anyone who recognizes them to contact Det. Hayles or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
• A forgotten 9/11 student video project earns an unexpected honor 25 years later (kvue.com) — A former Live Oak Academy student from Buda is being honored after his long-forgotten 9/11 student documentary about New York high schoolers was added to a special Library of Congress collection. His project, approved and supported by Hays CISD educators, captured teens’ fears and memories near Ground Zero and is now preserved nationally 25 years later.
