• Edwards Aquifer Authority Moves to Stage 2 Permit Restrictions as Drought Conditions Ease (mycanyonlake.com) — Stage 3 drought rules have eased to Stage 2 for Edwards Aquifer users, but Canyon Lake residents should know their tap water doesn’t come from that aquifer. The Texas Water Company instead relies on Canyon Reservoir and Trinity Aquifer wells, so these new restrictions affect regional groundwater users more than typical Canyon Lake households, even as overall conditions remain stressed.
