Cedar Park Details Key Road Closure Information For Fourth Of July Fete
Aimed at traffic improvement, Cypress Creek Road will be closed between El Salido Parkway and Sun Chase Boulevard on July 4.

CEDAR PARK, TX — City officials will implement a new traffic-routing technique during the annual Fourth of July celebration aimed at relieving vehicle congestion, officials said.
As part of the traffic-improving efforts, Cypress Creek Road will be closed between El Salido Parkway and Sun Chase Boulevard between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on July 4. Also, city officials noted, spectators for the fireworks show will not be allowed to sit on the roadway to watch the pyrotechnics as it must remain fully accessible to fire trucks to reach the western part of the city.
Cedar Park will be hosting its annual Fourth of July parade at 10 a.m followed by more celebration later the same afternoon. Capping the celebration will be a fireworks display starting at around 9:15 p.m. For more details, read the previous story below.
