Cedar Park Jumps To Region III After Latest UIL Reclassification
Tougher match-ups against teams from Houston and elsewhere are expected next two seasons.

CEDAR PARK, TX -- With Monday’s realignment of UIL boundaries for district play, Cedar Park suddenly finds itself in a different class altogether.
The defending state champs of their previous division are now reclassified as a District 19-5A ball club, a region of play falling under Region III.
As the Austin American-Statesman notes in its analysis, this means potentially tougher postseason games against Houston-area powerhouses.
