Coronavirus: WilCo Illness Count Grows To 87, 4th Death Reported
A woman in her 50s became the fourth person to die of coronavirus in Williamson County as six new cases of respirator illness are confirmed.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX β Health officials on Tuesday said a fourth person has died of coronavirus in Williamson County, as the illness count grew to 87 after six new cases were diagnosed.
The latest fataility is a woman in her 50s, according to Williamson County and Cities Health District officials. The health departmetn cited privacy protection laws in explaining the lack of further patient information details.
βOur county is mourning another loss today," Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell said in a prepared statement. "The sad news is a reminder of the battle we are up against with this virus, and how it will take all of us working together to keep our community from being further impacted.β

Health officials said additional COVID-19 deaths and cases will be reported on the dashboard located at www.wcchd.org/COVID-19/dashboard.php. The dashboard is updated just past noon daily. Cases in "Other cities in Williamson County" column are a combined total that include cities with populations below 20,000 and unincorporated Williamson to protect the privacy of residents.

Those exhibiting symptoms of respiratory illness including cough, fever and shortness of breath, are urged to contact their health care providers.
