Coronavirus: Williamson County Illness Count Grows To 113

3 more cases emerged on Saturday, including one in Round Rock which has the highest illness level with 42 patients — 37 perent of the total.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Three more coronavirus cases were confirmed in Williamson County on Saturday, bringing the total number to 113.

The Williamson County and Cities Health District updated the toll of illness as they do daily on a dashboard created to keep the public apprised. The data show 59 people have recovered in the county since being diagnosed as positive carriers of the COVID-19 virus that causes respiratory illness. So far, four people in the county have died from the illness.

According to the dashboard data, the new cases emerged in Georgetown, Round Rock and an unspecified city. All three of the newly diagnosed patients are older than 60 years of age, according to the data, with two hospitalized.

Round Rock has the highest concentration of illness among the county's cities, with 42 cases — 37 percent of the county total, according to the dashboard data.
