Leander Man Charged With Pointing Gun At Walmart Shoppers
Records indicate Alexander Tonkin-Kingsley, 19, remains jailed under $50,000 bail after incident outside Cedar Park store.

CEDAR PARK, TX — A Leander man has been charged after allegedly pulling a handgun on a couple and their child outside a Cedar Park Walmart store, according to a published report.
The man, later identified as Alexander Tonkin-Kingsley, 19, drove up to the store on a Ninja motorcycle in October as a a man, his girlfriend and their infant son were exiting the establishment, according to a newly released arrest affidavit referenced by the Austin American-Statesman.
Tonkin-Kingsley is said to have revved up his engine to the point where the sound scared the nine-month-old, according to the report. The Leander man then threatened to shoot the man, who stood in front of his companion and their child to protect them as Tonkin-Kingsley pointed a .45 caliber handgun he retrieved from his pants, according to the affidavit.

Tonkin-Kingsley subsequently was charged with the second-degree felony of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a crime punishable by up to 20 years in prison. As of Monday, he was still behind bars at the Williamson County Jail with bail set at $50,000.
