• No more WorldSprings, new CedarView apartments: two key development stories impacting Cedar Park (communityimpact.com) — Cedar Park's planned WorldSprings mineral spa is no longer moving forward, according to the city's economic development chief, changing expectations for that site. At the same time, an $82 million, 425-unit apartment complex at CedarView near 183A and New Hope is slated to start construction in January, with completion targeted for early 2029. 
• Georgetown ISD partners with Next Level Medical amidst rising healthcare costs (communityimpact.com) — Georgetown ISD employees will soon be able to use a Next Level Medical clinic in Cedar Park, along with Round Rock and Hutto, at no cost starting Sept. 1. The district is fully covering premiums for this new option, hoping lower healthcare expenses will prevent paycheck hits and eventually free up money for raises. Additional cost-saving steps include discounted providers and an international pharmacy program.
