Leander Police Seek Man Connected To Counterfeit Money Case
Officers are hoping someone might recognize the man seen on surveillance camera in a funny money case and alert him to his identity.

LEANDER, TEXAS — Police seek help from the public in identifying a "person of interest" they say may be involved in the passing of counterfeit currency at a local retailer last last month.
To the end of identifying and locating the person, police released surveillance camera images of the man being sought. While police stopped short of calling the man a suspect, they said he could be involved in a Dec. 31 incident during which counterfeit money was used at a Walgreen's Pharmacy store on 905 W. Crystal Falls Parkway.
The man pictured is possibly Hispanic, police said, with short black or dark brown hair. The person being sought is estimated to be in his mid- to late 20s, and was last sen wearing black pants, a red T-shirt, black jacket with brown collar and red shoes.
