Citizen Alerts: September 27, 2026 (wilcosun.com) — A Williamson County constable plans to auction a home at 326 Silent Spring Drive in Cedar Park on Tuesday, Oct. 6, to satisfy a court judgment, with the minimum bid covering suit and sale costs. The broader notice section also lists storage auctions, estate creditor deadlines, and public bids that Cedar Park and nearby residents may want to review for legal or business opportunities.
   

2. Starbucks plans to close 250 stores, including these Texas locations (wfaa.com) — Starbucks is closing 250 stores, and that includes the Cedar Park location at 1109 N. Bell Blvd., which is expected to shut down as early as this week. The company is also shuttering several other Texas shops, saying it will try to transfer affected employees or offer severance when that's not possible.
   

3. New Braunfels shoppers want a Trader Joe's. Here's what the chain says (lmtonline.com) — Construction is underway on a $5.7 million Trader Joe's near East Whitestone Boulevard and Arrow Point Drive in Cedar Park, bringing the popular grocer much closer for local shoppers. While New Braunfels residents still wait for their own store, Cedar Park's location will become the fifth in the Austin area and could shorten drives for many along the I-35 corridor.
   

4. Cedar Park man gets 30 years for cocaine conviction (kxan.com) — A Cedar Park man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison after a Williamson County jury found him guilty of possessing more than five grams of cocaine in a Cedar Park home where a protective order barred him from being. Jurors heard about drugs and scales found near his belongings, his denial of ownership, and his prior violent convictions before deciding the lengthy sentence.
