• Exit ramps, road improvements: 6 Austin metro transportation updates (communityimpact.com) — Cedar Park drivers can expect major improvements along Whitestone Boulevard from New Hope Drive to Bagdad Road and at the 183A Toll intersection, with work moving into design and engineering now. Funded by the city, CTRMA, and federal partners, these projects aim to ease congestion and improve safety for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists over the next few years.

• Sidney 'Sid' Sheggeby, 88 (thedakotascout.com) — Cedar Park readers may recognize Pamela, daughter of Sidney "Sid" Sheggeby, who recently passed away at 88 after moving to Georgetown to be closer to her. His life spanned teaching, food and consumer-goods careers, deep Lutheran church involvement, and decades of family-centered travel, with funeral services planned in South Dakota later this month.
