Police Have Suspect In Pre-Thanksgiving Cedar Park Walmart Fire
The person identified as suspect hasn't been identified or arrested for Nov. 21 fires set inside store, but are in contact with the person.

CEDAR PARK, TX — Police have identified a person suspected of setting fires at a Walmart store in Cedar Park last week while mulling what to charge the person with, according to a news report.
Cedar Park Police Commander Bryan Wukasch told the Austin American-Statesman said the suspect has not been arrested or identified, but is talking to officers about the incident. Police were expected to provide an update on the matter shortly, the officer added.
Cedar Park fire officials were called just before 2 a.m. on Nov. 21 about two fires set inside the store at 201 Walton Way. According to fire department officials, a sprinkler system controlled the fires before first responders arrived.

A company spokesman declined to reveal the financial loss resulting from the fire, the Statesman reported. He said other parts of the store would be opened intermittently as they are cleaned, sterilized and restocked, with a focus on re-opening the pharmacy, he told the newspaper.
