• OSHA proposes $3.5M in fines after Channelview sulfuric acid spill injured workers (click2houston.com) — Federal safety officials are seeking more than $3.5 million in penalties from three companies after a massive sulfuric acid spill at a Channelview industrial facility injured multiple workers in December 2025. OSHA says the employers failed to properly train and protect cleanup crews, and the companies now have 15 business days to either comply, meet with regulators, or contest the citations.
