• Cinco Ranch home catches fire after possible lightning strike, 3 firefighters treated for injuries (click2houston.com) — A home in Cinco Ranch was destroyed Tuesday night after a likely lightning strike sparked a fierce fire during a severe storm, leaving three firefighters with treatable, mostly heat-related injuries. No residents were home at the time, but neighbors described frightening explosions and flames as Willow Fork and Katy crews battled what officials say was one of several suspected lightning fires in the area.
