The Lone Star Rally Underway In Galveston
Harley Heaven: Bikers from all over the U.S. are in Galveston Island this weekend for the largest motorcycle rally in North America.
GALVESTON, TX — The largest motorcycle rally in North America is happening in Galveston Island this weekend.
If you've heard the unmistable roar of thousands of Harley Davidson motoroing the Strand, then that means the 16th Annual Lone Star Rally is in full swing.
More than 250,000 bikers from all over the U.S. were exoected to descend on the island for the 4 day event, which began on Thursday.

Galveston Police began blocking off sections of Seawall Blvd, Strand, Mechanic and Harborside on Oct. 31, advise that anyone coming to the island who isn't attending the rally to use the public trolley to get about town.
The rally will have a number of feature events including live music and food, a custom bike show, scavenger hunt, bike builder competition, car and truck shows, and of course the Miss Lone Star Rally competition at the Budweiser Stage on Nov. 4.
