4 Killed In Apparent Murder-Suicide At San Luis Resort

GALVESTON, TX — Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide at the San Luis Resort that initially left three people dead and one critically injured, who would die hours later.

The shooting happened at about 4:30 Monday morning, when police started receiving calls of gunshots on the 8th floor.

When police arrived, they discovered the room was locked but once inside they found four people had been shot, KTRK reported.

A woman, who was among the four shooting victims, was the only one still alive when police were able to get inside the room.

She was taken to the University of Texas Medical Branch hospital in critical condition and died hours later.

Police said all four victims were members of the same family.

Police have not released the identity of the victims, and have not yet said who they think may have pulled the trigger.

The case is still under investigation.
