Angleton Police Arrest Man Who Raped Teenage Girl

ANGLETON, TX — Police in Angleton arrested the man who held a 19-year old woman at gunpoint and raped her as she waited at a railroad crossing Wednesday night.

The woman told police that she was sitting in her car in the 200 block of South Anderson at about midnight, when a man wearing a mask, got into her car through an unlocked door.

The man forced her to drive a short distance away, and after taking her money, the man pulled her from the car and brutally raped her, KPRC reported.

On Friday, police arrested 29-year old Jonathan Green and charged him with aggravated sexual assault, which carries a possible life sentence if convicted.

Green is being held at the Brazoia County Jail, and his bond is set at $35,000.
