LA PORTE, TX -- A woman who was caught breaking into a car at in business in La Porte might have gotten away scot-free if hadn’t been for a Morgan’s Point Police Officer who agreed to help out.
The La Porte Police were notified of the incident on Monday, but were too short-handed to send an officer to the 1400 block of West Main Street right away, so they asked the Morgan’s Point Police for a helping hand.
When the officer arrived at the business at about 5 p.m., he found the woman lying on the ground in the parking lot and the armed manager from the business holding the woman until police were able to get there.
