Baytown Police Seize 16 Pounds of Cocaine on Search Warrant

Police learned about narcotics distribution through an investigation in the area.

BAYTOWN, TX -- A man was arrested after a narcotics investigation led to the discovery of 16 pounds of cocaine in his home.

Jesus Quiroga, 33, was arrested Wednesday at his home in the 100 block of Bowie Street, and charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver.

Police said they learned about Quiroga during a narcotics investigation, and that officials determined large quantities of cocaine were being distributed from his Bowie Street home.

Police arrived at the home with a search warrant and seized 16 pounds of cocaine, and arrested Quiroga.

He is currently being held at the Harris County Jail.
